Worstenemy BIO. The musical research of Worstenemy started in december 1997 under monicker 'KARNAK', (later changed in WORSTENEMY for homonymy problem). The band was originally formed by Maurizio Martis (guitar), Andrea Fodde (drums) and A. Concu (bass) and started with a repertory of cover songs from Black Sabbath to old school band like italian Negazione through power groove thrash of Pantera and death metal of Sepultura and Deicide. In March 1998 Mario Pulisci joined the band as guitar player and guttural singer and the first track in best old death metal style were composed. In July 1998 the bassist leave the project and Fabio Masili took his place. His entry in the band produced a stronger change towards more death-thrash metal, sound influenced at first by Slayer and Sepultura above all. Worstenemy from this moment produced only violent impact music, the band started performing live gigs in club and squares of Oristano and province as well as in illegal concerts in Sardinia. After a short period they started performing lives in Cagliari city and around where the group is considered as one of the best professional Death Metal bands ever. In November 2000 Worstenemy enter into record studio 'Ziqquarth' in Porto Torres city and the result is the 1st 'self titled' promo cd self-produced and available all over Italy: 4 TRX of Death Metal in best Florida putrid old and aggressive style. Worstenemy continued to play many live shows in their island Sardinia and the attention around the band increased, new songs was composed in this times and a new more aggressive/professional attitude and performing execution inspired Worstenemy project, their sound is now massive and mature, leaving behind mainstream sonorities and excessive melodic refrains. In 2003 the band enter in studio (Ziqquarth) to record 2 new brand Track ep that appear in one side of totally prof. split 7" with veterenan Italian DM band Mindsnare, this ep is released by friends of sardinaian Raptures Asylum Productions after 2 years for technical problems with the pressing Industry. 2004: another killer song is made out, 'Dissoved in Nothing' recorded in oristano by engineer and friend Marco Marini, 7" is out in 444 limited copies and new fresh songs are forged from blood to incinerating listeners. Now the band was moved from Sardinia and lived near Bologna city (Italy) to have many more opportunities for live shows gigs and promotion in Italy. Stay tuned, Death Metal alive...

Mindsnare Bio. MIND SNARE is one of the most important Italian old school death metal band that preserve roots still like the style of first Deicide, Morbid Angel, Sinister, Vader... but with important add of blast beats, mid tempos, low vocals and all the shit of Death Metal, they born in Turin (North of Italy) in 1989: The Oldest one and the first ever to play with KREATOR, MALEVOLENT CREATION, VADER, OPPRESSOR, DISGORGE (USA),etc... MIND SNARE’s production started with 7 demo tapes during its first 10 years of activity. After 3 deals signed with rip off labels in 1999 they self produced their first MCD "HEGEMONY" now sold out. Their music was so successful that only 6 months after its released, the now defunct PSYCHIC SCREAM RECORDS (Malaysia) decided to re-released it with 2 live bonus tracks. In 2001 PSYCHIC SCREAM produced their 2nd album "HATEFUL ATTITUDE" and TERROR FROM HELL rec. released 7" "BROKEN PROMISES". In 2002 MIND SNARE signed for FOREVER UNDERGROUND RECORDS (USA): this co-operation saw the birth of their 3rd CD "THE NOBLE ANCESTRY", in 2003. Each released had a great consideration from Italian and foreign magazines / webzines, and each one was supported by a non-stop live activity: MIND SNARE performances are always an explosion of violence and brutality, mixed with a satanic and blasphemous atmospheres. "FROM BLOOD TO DUST", their new album that includes as bonus tracks, the complete "Hegemony" CD, now out of print, was released in January 2005, while in June 2005 the second 7" entitled 'Visions' with cool DM band WORSTENEMY is made out by the Italian underground label Raptures Asylum Productions under courtesy of Forever Underground (USA).
